Today in incredibly awkward celebrity news, Katie Holmes was caught liking—and then swiftly unliking—a post about her ex-husband Tom Cruise.
The post in question came from the Daily Mail, and was shared all the way back on May 1. The subject? Tom's alleged relationship with Anna de Armas.
The caption read, in part, "Tom Cruise and Ana de Armas confirmed their love affair is real as they flew into London together this week days before her 37th birthday." The Daily Mail also noted that Tom looked "giddy" as he "piloted a helicopter into the UK capital with the brunette actress by his side."
As a quick reminder, Tom and Katie got together allllll the way back in the early aughts, and married in November 2006. They welcomed their daughter, Suri, that same year, and then split in June 2012.
Katie told People of the breakup, "I don’t want that moment in my life to define me, to be who I am. I don’t want that to be what I’m known as. I was an actor before, an actor during and an actor now."
Meanwhile, Tom and Ana first sparked romance rumors in the spring. A source told Us Weekly in May that "It’s low-key, still new and in the early stages. Their romance is definitely on the down low."
Turns out the pair met through Penelope Cruz, who "put in a good word for her both personally and professionally." And while Tom and Ana first linked up to chat about work, Tom was "super smitten," a "relationship developed" and now there are "feelings."
