• Justin Bieber is headlining Coachella 2026—his first U.S. performance since 2022—and reportedly negotiated the gig without an agent.
  • He’s set to earn an eight-figure payout and will pocket nearly all of it thanks to full independence from his old team.
  • After dropping SWAG and SWAG II with total creative freedom, sources say Bieber’s Coachella set will be a “once-in-a-generation spectacle.”

It’s a good year to be a belieber. Not only did Justin Bieber drop two albums, SWAG and SWAG II, but he’s taking them to the stage at Coachella 2026. According to Rolling Stone, JB is “fully in the driver’s seat” as he reportedly scored his highly anticipated headlining gig without an agent.

“It’s a groundbreaking move for a headliner, and it’s something he built entirely on his own,” a source close to the Grammy winner revealed. “Between headlining Coachella and the success of Swag, it’s clear this is the start of an exciting new era for Justin—one where he’s fully in the driver’s seat.”

As for his Coachella salary, an insider shared that he’s getting paid $10 million, or $5 million for each weekend of the beloved music fest. He won’t have to shave any of it off for an agency commission, meaning he’ll receive most—if not all—of that money for himself.

And the performance itself? One of the sources says Justin “is an unshakeable artist who has stood up against the grain and fought for his independence. His 2026 Coachella performance won’t just be a headlining set, but a once-in-a-generation spectacle from a once-in-a-generation pop icon.”

This marks JB’s first live performance in the U.S. since his Justice World Tour in 2022. Before he dropped SWAG and SWAG II, other sources revealed that the singer had full creative freedom while making both albums.

Breaking away from Scooter Braun and his team has been something that Justin has wanted for so long and now that he’s fully free, he could finally share this album with his fans and with the world. It’s something he’s been wanting to do for a long time,” insiders told Rolling Stone at the time.

They also noted that “having full creative freedom, sadly, is something new for him as an artist. Not having to stress about creating the perfect single, or perfect album allowed for him to create the best body of music he’s ever made. He was able to be his true, authentic self and didn’t have any additional voices trying to steer him in a certain direction.”

They continued, “This is the most pure version of Justin we’ve ever seen musically. This is the first time in Justin’s career where he’s been able to have 100 percent creative freedom, which is why the music is so honest and vulnerable.”

TL;DR: Bieberchella is going to be one for the books!
