Me personally? I had extremely high expectations for Julia Fox's outfit at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party, and she came through x 100. The author/actor arrived on the annual red carpet channeling Botticelli's "Birth of Venus" in a completely sheer dress and strategically placed waves of hair.
I'm literally without words, it's so good I could cry.
Julia recently spoke to the New York Times about her fashion aesthetic and love for burgeoning designers, saying “On social media I always find designers that have, like, a thousand followers and are just getting their stuff out, and I feel like I’ve struck gold. I’ll send them straight to my stylist. It’s an everyday occurrence. I hate that social media eats so much of my time, but sometimes you want to numb out.”
She also spoke about working with emerging designers to WWD last year, saying “Ninety-nine percent of the time I love what they’re giving me. It’s really exciting because they know that I’m their patron saint and that I will wear their stuff. I want to allow space for designers who taught themselves, who couldn’t go to fashion school, or who don’t have mommy and daddy to pay for their first collection.”
