There are two types of Josh O'Connor fans. 1) Everyone who became a fan after Challengers, and 2) those of us who have seen all 26 episodes of The Durrells in Corfu. All are welcome here, an adorable place where we're going through Josh's dating history which is—as predicted—extremely cute. Margot Hauer-King: 2019 to...2023?
Josh's first public relationship was with marketing executive Margot Hauer-King, the sister of actor Jonah Hauer-King (he played Prince Eric in the live action Little Mermaid). Anyway, Josh and Margot were extremely low-key during their relationship, but the Daily Mail did speak to a source who said (in response to them going public on Instagram) that "[Josh is] a very private guy, so this is a big deal. It's serious. He's found the one."
And it wasn't just Insta. Josh and Margot also attended a few events together:
But ultimately they remained pretty private—like, to the point where it's unclear when they actually broke up. Some reports suggest circa 2023, but nothing is confirmed!
Alison Oliver: Early 2024 to Circa Right Now
Josh and Alison (who you know from Saltburn and the upcoming Wuthering Heights film) have been going strong since at least February 2024, when they were photographed holding hands in Italy.
Cut to November, and The Sun spoke to a source who says "Josh and Alison have a lot in common and have enjoyed getting to know each other away from the spotlight. Despite their huge roles, they prefer hanging out in libraries rather than big glamorous events."
They're still going strong—as in, have matching tattoos strong, see below—and have been doing the occasional red carpet together!
That said, they're definitely keeping things private based on Alison telling The Times of London—when asked about her and Josh's relationship—"I’m not going to answer questions about that, if that’s OK. I’m just setting a little rule for myself, but thank you."
