Despite what you may have heard about Ben Affleck trying to win back Jennifer Garner after his divorce from Jennifer Lopez, the truth is she’s happily moved on with her boyfriend of seven years, John Miller. In fact, a new source claims that Jennifer Garner and John Miller have “hit a stride as a couple” and are better than ever.
An unnamed source just spilled on the status of Jennifer and John’s romance, telling People, “Those who know them say this is the most solid and connected they’ve ever been.” The source continued, “John has also embraced Jen’s family life. He’s been patient, supportive and deeply respectful of her dynamic with Ben and the kids.”
This appears to be a delayed response to the reports in March claiming that John had given Jen “an ultimatum” back in March after photos of Jennifer and Ben hugging and hanging out with their kids went viral.
“John knows there’s nothing going on between Jen and Ben, but he doesn’t think those photos are a good look and feels it’s disrespectful to their relationship,” a source told Page Six at the time. The source continued, saying that John “doesn’t want to see anything like that again or he has no choice but to walk away.”
That said, any rumored conflict between Jen and John appeared to be resolved quickly, as a source told Us Weekly in April that John was “basically living with Jennifer part-time.” And based on People’s newest report, it sounds like things are going well, both between them and with their respective exes.
Like Jen, John has also been spotted with his ex, Caroline Campbell. And honestly, it’s nice seeing adults be mature enough to have good relationships with their exes, especially if they have kids—Ben and Jen share three children, while John and his ex have two of their own. They’ll always be linked to their exes through their kids, and it’s good to hear that John is supportive of Jen and Ben’s friendship.
