The iconic Broadway show made it to theaters on November 22, 2024, but some lucky fans were able to see it early thanks to some special early screenings on November 20.

You don’t have to go to Shiz University to have to buy tickets. It’s actually super easy nowadays because the film is available almost anywhere, especially as we get closer to the Oscars. Just make sure to check with your local theater for showings and you can also buy tickets online.
How can I watch Wicked at home?
If you prefer to watch it on a streaming service you’re already subscribed to, then you can now check it out on Peacock now that it was added to the streamer on March 21, 2025. Not only is the film streaming there, but there's also a “Defying Gravity” collection of bonus content including the Sing-Along Version, behind-the-scenes videos, extended and deleted scenes, and other fun goodies!
