Rihanna rang in her birthday on February 20—just days after A$AP Rocky was found not guilty on two felony counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm. Obviously, the couple have a lot to celebrate, but apparently they kept things pretty chill on RiRi's birthday, opting for a cozy morning in with their kids.
“Rocky and Rihanna had breakfast at home, with just the two of them and their kids,” a source tells Page Six. “Today’s the day where they’re basically reconnecting with the family and they’re just staying home... They’re basically just appreciating the fact that they’re able to be together."
ICYMI, Rocky was seen leaping into Rihanna's arms for a hug after his not guilty verdict:
He then thanked the jury as he was leaving the courtroom, saying “Thank y’all for saving my life.”
The rapper also gave a statement to reporters outside the courthouse, saying "First of all, I got to thank god. We want to thank god first, you know what I’m saying? And I really want to thank the jury for making the right decision. I’m just so thankful. This is crazy right now. This whole experience has been crazy, for the past four years, but I’m thankful, nonetheless, I’m thankful. Blessed to be here right now, to be a free man talkin’ to y’all. Thank you. All praise to god.”
