Sorry Brat Summer, It's Guava Girl Summer Now—Meet the Beauty Trend Already Taking Over
I've seen at least 10 launches in my inbox this week alone.

I guess we'll be measuring every summer in fruits. 2023? Strawberry glaze everything. Summer 2024? Tomatoes, for the "clean girls," and cherries, for everyone else. And 2025, seemingly, has already chosen its token produce: Guava. It's the newest flavor of our favorite lip balm, the main ingredient in toners and face mists, and the top note dominating summer perfume trends. Not to mention, it's about to get the "guava girl" treatment on TikTok, complete with monochrome makeup looks featuring tangy pink blush looks and matching glossy lips. Hell, even Dunkin is on board with a new Pink Spritz Refresher for summer.
As a beauty editor, I'm constantly fielding new pitches in my inbox. And rn, my email is stuffed with everything guava. But it feels even more than just an of-the-moment trend. Guava extract, found in many skincare products, is an antioxidant that's naturally high in vitamin C, which we already know is a powerhouse for brightening, firming, and hydrating skin. Similarly, guava pink makeup gives your skin a natural flush—whether your complexion is fair, medium, tan, or deep—that's quintessentially summer coded. And ofc, who doesn't wanna spritz on a delicious citrus perfume when it's 100 degrees outside? It all just makes sense, K?
Because I'm convinced it's all we'll be using the next three months (until the next fruit takes over... squash girl fall, anyone??), I've rounded up the best new releases, plus a few old faves, that all nod to our best guava summer ever.
