35 Steamiest Sex Scenes From ‘Bridgerton’ on Netflix

Bridgerton, the Netflix series that dropped in 2020 and became one of the most-watched shows on the service, has consumed us body and soul ever since. Four seasons and one devastatingly romantic spin-off titled Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story later and it’s still a major obsession.
I won’t waste my time spoiling too much of the plot since I’m sure you’ve already watched, but as the name implies, the series, which takes place in the 1800s, follows the Bridgerton family and their love interests in a sexy Regency England. But to describe this show as “sexy” is a bit of an understatement. The series may seem like an innocent, cutesy watch à la Pride and Prejudice or Downton Abbey, but it’s actually anything but G-rated. The series is adapted from Julia Quinn’s romance novels, which despite being pretty virgin-centric (most of the ladies of that genre barely know what sex is before their wedding night) is a spicy book series you wouldn’t want to get caught reading on public transportation.
That’s where Netflix steps in! Like, aside from the wild amount of nudity and basic “making love” scenes the show touts, it’s also the equivalent of your horny dreams on steroids. There’s lots—and lots—of unexpected oral sex, masturbation, dirty talk, outdoor sex, and even sex on the stairs that looks? kind of? fun?

These two crazy kids have been doing everything unchaperoned and unsupervised, from "courting lessons" to getting freaky on the ride home. It's no surprise that they didn't wait until they were legally wed to ~go all the way~ so to speak. While I'm not thrilled that they did the deed on a chaise lounge (First a carraige and now this? Let my girl have some space!) the scene is everything book readers wanted, from the mirror moment to some of the actual dialogue!

Benedict Bridgerton, a (maybe?) bisexual king! This storyline has been teased for multiple seasons, and we finally got it: Benedict hooking up with both a woman and a man. It'll be so interesting to see how the show incorporates Benedict's ongoing relationship with his sexuality in his season.

Queen Charlotte Episode 2: Brimsley and Reynolds Sneak Off to Bone
It took two episodes into the spin-off of a show that was, at the time, two seasons in, but we finally got some same-sex sex between main characters on Bridgerton. Brimsley and his lover Reynolds have a sexy height difference and a messy, frantic, delightful love story that—unfortunately—has to stay behind closed doors.

Queen Charlotte Episode 5: Lady Danbury and Violet’s Father
When she was finally rid of her boring, sexually unsatisfying husband, Lady Danbury was free to explore a relationship with her kind neighbor Lord Ledger. Well, there are a few problems. For one thing, Lord Ledger is married. For another, how was she to know that she’d end up befriending his daughter Violet, aka the future Lady Bridgerton and matriarch of the original series?! Whoops! Still, this is a great scene and hot AF. It’s liberating not only to see Lady Danbury get on top, but that by doing so she’s shaking off the negative associations she has with sex due to her late husband.
Fast-forward to 1 hour and 11 or 12 minutes.
Season 2, Episode 5: Benedict and Tessa the Model/Artist
Supporting characters got it on a lot in season 1 but not so much in season 2. The only thing we had to tide us over was the brief, brief affair between the Bridgerton family’s second son and a girl he met in painting classes. Someone has to be the slutty brother! Benedict, we thank you for your service.

Season 2, Episode 7: Anthony and Kate Moonlight Sex
The second season of Bridgerton had barely any sex, opting instead for a slow burn between Kate and Anthony full of charged touches, fingers brushing, wet shirts, angst galore, and even a scene where Lord Bridgerton openly sniffs his future wife as she passes. So when the season 2 leading man and leading lady finally hooked up under a gazebo in the episode 7, it was everything.
