The countdown to the holiday weekend is officially on, and by that I mean it's almost time to eat a bunch of leftover pumpkin pie while watching Maxton Hall—The World Between Us.

The addictive Amazon Prime show airs its explosive season two finale on Friday, November 28—and if that sounds like simply too long to wait, we got our hands on an exclusive sneak peak. And yes, it features Ruby Bell (Harriet Herbig-Matten) and James Beaufort (Damian Hardung) doing what they do best: sharing a steamy kiss.

In the clip, James suggests that they stay the night at Cyril's house before Ruby preps for her upcoming exam, reassuring her that Oxford (which, reminder, she needs to secure a scholarship for) is the priority. The pair then enjoy a quick make out on a park bench, as they do.

Things seem back on track between Ruby and James going into this week's finale, but we should definitely expect some drama ahead. Let's not forget that Cyril and Elaine just took secret pics of Lydia and Sutton kissing, not to mention the fact that James' dad just hacked his phone and definitely found...something.

And speaking of Mortimer Beaufort, he'll seemingly stop at nothing to break up Ruby and James. Will their relationship make it when everyone is actively rooting against them (except for us, naturally)?
