Given how much Robert Irwin, son of famed wildlife conservationist Steve Irwin and brother to DWTS season 21 champion Bindi Irwin, has been dreaming of joining the show for years. “This has been a dream of mine since I was a little kid watching my sister's incredible journey on the show back in 2016,” he wrote on Instagram. “I cannot believe it is about to become a reality.”

Alix Earle was the one of the first cast members announced ahead of season 34. Best known as a TikTok influencer, Alix is an entrepreneur and host of the Hot Mess podcast. She also just so happens to be a major DWTS fan. “I love a good performance! I'm so intrigued,” she said during an appearance on Good Morning America announcing her casting.

Jordan Chiles
Andrew Eccles//DisneyShow status: 3rd place
Olympian Jordan Chiles is (temporarily) ditching Team USA for DWTS. The medal-winning gymnast is following in the footsteps of fellow Olympic gymnasts Simone Biles, Suni Lee, and Stephen Nedoroscik. And with her skills, there's no doubt she'll be one to watch.
Dylan Efron

Traitors season 3 winner and Zac Efron's little brother, Dylan Efron, was a reality TV breakout earlier this year, so DWTS feels like the most logical next step. Besides his undeniable charm, he's most known as a travel influencer and YouTuber.

- Dance/relevant experience: Dylan isn't a dancer—at least, I couldn't find any evidence of dance in his background. However, he is a major athlete who does a lot of outdoor sports, so at the very least, he should be able to pull off a lift.

Elaine Hendrix

Justice for Meredith Blake will take on a whole new meaning this season, as actor Elaine Hendrix takes to the dance floor. Consider this part two in her Hollywood comeback—step one was appearing in Freakier Friday opposite her almost on-screen step-daughter, Lindsay Lohan.

Secret Lives of Mormon Wives villain, Whitney Leavitt, is also part of this season's cast. As Taylor noted at the season 2 reunion, Whitney has a lot of dancing experience. “You've danced your whole life,” she said.

Danielle Fishel, aka the Boy Meets World icon Topanga, is here to show off her best dance moves. Despite being a former child star and being BFFs with Lance Bass of NSYNC, she doesn't have much dance experience.
Jen Affleck
Andrew Eccles//DisneyShow status: Sent home week 7 (9th place)
The Mormon housewife was another one of the first cast members announced this season, with Nick Viall breaking the news during the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives season 2 reunion.
After revealing that “most” of the cast had auditioned for the show, Nick asked Taylor Frankie Paul who she thought was most deserving. She named Jen, saying, “It's her dream, since she was little.”
