Yup, Netflix has done it again! The streaming platform has assembled some of the biggest talents working in Hollywood for an Avengers-level comedic ensemble in one of its latest releases, The Four Seasons. The eight-episode miniseries is an adaptation of Alan Alda’s 1981 romantic comedy film of the same name, but with a modern twist. And it's certainly gotten a lot of buzz because of its star-studded cast.

The show follows the story of six longtime friends—three married couples—who are now in their fifties. All these years, they've managed to maintain a tradition of going on quarterly weekend trips together. However, when one couple decides to get a divorce, this complicates everything. The entire dynamic of the friend group gets thrown off and threatens the sanctity of their regular getaways.

Here are the cast and characters of The Four Seasons.

But while he loves his friends dearly, his path seems to be diverging from theirs as he deals with aging differently.

Academy Award-winning actor Steve Carell is an American icon. His most recognizable film and TV projects include The Office, The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Crazy Stupid Love, and Despicable Me.

Kate, with her fierce loyalty and love, is the glue that holds the whole squad together. Although she still gets on her friends' nerves because of her snark and bossy attitude. She's married to Jack, and they're the only couple from the original college crew that got hitched after graduation. It's this friendship they share that makes their bond strong, and carries them through tough times.

The great comedienne Tina Fey needs no introduction. But, in case you've been living under a rock this whole time, the former Saturday Night Live cast member has gone on to create and star in numerous films and shows including 30 Rock, Mean Girls, and Only Murders in the Building.

He brings a softness and empathy to the group dynamic, but it's clear that the changes throughout the years have worn on him and affected his pure heart.

Comedian Will Forte has been a longtime friend, collaborator, and co-star of Tina Fey on Saturday Night Live and 30 Rock. He's also a talented voice actor who's lent his voice to shows like American Dad, Bob's Burgers, and The Simpsons.
