An early morning fumigation
Courtesy Max/YouTubeI realize this has very little to do with the plots of the series, but, the way these masked figures appear to be fumigating the entire hotel is undeniably ominous. It's also notable that it comes as everyone prepares to leave the hotel—they are the invasive species, after all.

Timothy's looking for poison.
Courtesy Max/YouTubeThe trailer really kicks off with Timothy Ratliff asking Pam about the poisonous fruit outside his villa. “Locals actually call it the suicide tree...so, don't eat it,” Pam says. Given Timothy's suicidal and murderous thoughts, I'm not so sure he'll follow Pam's advice.
Saxon's blender is blending.
Courtesy Max/YouTubeLater in the trailer, you see a close-up of Saxon's blender whipping up what could be a poisonous fruit smoothie. If Timothy does decide to kill himself and his family, what better way to do it than with those protein smoothies Saxon is so obsessed with?
What's interesting about this murder method is that Piper probably wouldn't drink it, and, depending on which sibling he feels more pressured by, Lochlan might not either.

Rick is still in his white suit.
Courtesy Max/YouTubeThe last we see of Rick in episode 7, he's sitting on a couch in his hotel room, smiling as two topless women do drugs off the coffee table in front of him. Whatever else happened that night, it looks like it was a wild one, as Rick seems exhausted and a little worse for wear in the elevator. He better be on his way back to The White Lotus!
Frank is back...
Courtesy Max/YouTubeFrank is seen praying, which suggests that he survived his night of debauchery with Rick, and that he was serious about getting back on the straight and narrow after their celebration. Good for you, Frank!

And stabbing a pillow?
Courtesy Max/YouTubeLater in the trailer, we see Frank stabbing what looks like a pillow in a jacket, cigarette dangling from his mouth. Given his outfit, it looks like this will be from the morning after his and Rick's night of partying. Hopefully the praying seen above means that this is just some random outburst on his part.
That said, it does show that he is capable of violence. Also, the fact that we see him in two different settings (the temple and this hotel room) could mean that he either goes to The White Lotus to look for Rick, or he crosses paths with other guests somehow.
Belinda, Zion, and Greg talk terms.
Courtesy Max/YouTubeIn this brief scene teased in the preview, Zion and Greg are sitting down to talk, but Belinda is standing up and ready to go, calling this entire meeting “a waste of time.” Sounds like she's not interested in Greg's $100,000 hush money.

Zion looks scared AF.
Courtesy Max/YouTubeZion looks genuinely freaked out when his mom puts a stop to this discussion. Given the staging of the scene, with Belinda standing and ready to go, it's possible that Zion could have taken this meeting alone, which would provide Greg with ample opportunity to deliver more explicit threats against him and his mother.
Hence his terrified expression when Belinda says she doesn't want to make a deal. (Or he's just really scared of crossing his mom.)
Greg looks more suss than ever.
Courtesy Max/YouTubeGreg is hard to read, but I'm guessing that the second Belinda turns down his offer, he's already thinking of another way out. Like murder, maybe? There's another shot of him in the finale trailer sipping on a drink, looking threatening as hell. But is he looking at Belinda or Saxon? Whatever he's up to in the finale, I want no part of it!

Is Gaitok ready to accuse Valentin?
Courtesy Max/YouTubeGaitok appears to initiate a conversation with his boss about the robbery, but it's unclear if he actually tells anyone his suspicions about Valentin's involvement.
Sritala and Jim Hollinger are back at The White Lotus.
Courtesy Max/YouTubeIf you only watch the trailer once, you might think this shot is about Valentin being suss and looking over at Gaitok, but the real threat is actually Jim Hollinger, who appears to be the man next to Sritala.
There's no way that Jim Hollinger showing up to The White Lotus the day after being confronted by Rick is a coincidence. Looks like someone's got some unfinished business.

Chelsea is concerned.
Courtesy Max/YouTube“I love you,” Chelsea says to a blurry figure in the trailer. “Please don't do something stupid.” We don't know for sure who she's talking to, but it's probably Rick (or, maybe Chloe?), and if she's worried about Rick, it means he's about to do something reckless.
There is a shot right after this of Rick telling someone, “I'm gonna be okay.” But that scene looks like it takes place at night, while Chelsea seems to be expressing her fears in the daytime. Hmmm...
Chelsea and Rick have a moment on the beach.
Courtesy Max/YouTubeAs much as I would like this romantic running to hug each other on the beach scene to be real, it just doesn't feel at all like something Rick would do, even on his best day.
This feels like a daydream to me, or perhaps a vision one might have as they bleed out from a gunshot wound on the last day of their stay in Thailand. Just sayin'!

Will Laurie, Jaclyn, and Kate make up?
Courtesy Max/YouTubeWe don't see too much from the blonde ladies in the finale preview, but we do see Jaclyn asking Kate if she's seen Laurie and Laurie looking on as Jaclyn and Kate take pictures in the pool. Yes, Laurie seems like the odd one out, but Jaclyn's concern suggests to me that there's still love there.
Also don't let that one shot of the three friends lounging by a pool fool you! I'm pretty sure that's a shot from a few episodes ago, when Valentin sent them to the hotel for retirees.
An ominous sinking hand...
Courtesy Max/YouTubeWe know that whoever dies in The White Lotus doesn't drown, or at least not in a way that would lead to a shot of their hand reaching out for the surface, like this one. This definitely seems like a dream, but whose?

Gaitok! Gun! Gaitok!
Courtesy Max/YouTubeGaitok appears to be running for his life in one shot, gun in hand. I'm guessing someone else starts shooting, and he's heading towards the danger to be the hero. I just can't see Gaitok choosing to use the gun unless absolutely necessary. But then, what exactly is he running towards?
Could there be more than one death?
Courtesy Max/YouTubeWe only see one body bag in the trailer, but as we know from season 2, that could really be a misdirect. Remember, Tanya's was the only body that washed up to shore in the season 2 finale, but plenty of other people died. Also, the dead body we saw in the season premiere seemed to be floating in a little pond area near the hotel, not directly on the beach (aka what this looks like), which makes me think this could be a different body entirely.

Is Pam psychic?
Courtesy Max/YouTubeThe trailer ends with White Lotus queen Pam telling Timothy to “have a great last day.” Um... could she mean, last day ever on earth??? Okay, she's probably talking about his stay at the White Lotus, but it does sound rather ominous considering she's talking to the man contemplating a murder-suicide, right?
