Great news: 2024 served us some exciting new shows on Netflix, as well as the long-awaited return of some fan favorites via binge-worthy new seasons. And don't get me started on reality shows like Love is Blind, The Great British Baking Show, and The Circle. While I've definitely strayed to other streaming services and networks this year, there is always something on Netflix that has people talking. Here are the best shows that came to Netflix in 2024.

There's the third season of Girls5Eva, which moved to Netflix from Peacock, as well as the third season of Vikings: Valhalla. There's the romantic limited series One Day, which hit Netflix on February 8, just in time to destroy everyone's tear ducts for Valentine's Day. And then, to make us believe in happily ever after again, there was the triumphant return of Bridgerton for #Polin season. Nobody Wants This kept the romance vibes burning later in the year as well. And who knows? Maybe a miracle will happen, and they'll reverse the decision to cancel Shadow and Bone and/or some other favorites. A girl can dream.

And will we finally get Stranger Things 5 a.k.a. the final season a.k.a. please free these former child actors from the Upside Down forever this year? Definitely not. Prayers for the fully grown youth of Hawkins, Indiana.

Bridgerton Season 3

I'm truly shocked they split it into two parts when it has been sooooo long since season 2, but now that it's all out, I won't look a gift horse in the mouth. Especially if that horse is pulling Penelope and Colin in a certain carriage.
