Fortune teller who delivered the all-important "valonqar" prophecy to Cersei when she was a child.
Grenn
Brother of the Night's Watch who died in season four when the Wildlings attacked the Wall.
Jory Cassel
Captain of guards for House Stark who accompanied Ned to King's Landing when he traveled there to serve as Hand of the King. Jory died defending Ned from Jaime Lannister.
Karl Tanner
Traitorous brother of the Night's Watch who led the mutiny at Craster's Keep that resulted in the death of Lord Commander Mormont.
Mirri Maz Duur
Lhazareen witch who attempted to save Khal Drogo using blood magic. When that backfired and left him a vegetable, Daenerys smothered him to death and burned Mirri on Drogo's funeral pyre.
Craster
Tentative ally of the Night's Watch who lived north of the Wall in a makeshift dwelling called Craster Keep's. He was known for marrying his own daughters and giving their male children to the White Walkers. He was killed in Karl Tanner's mutiny, which is honestly good for everybody.
Maester Luwin
Winterfell's former maester, killed during Theon Greyjoy's attempted takeover.
Old Nan
Winterfell servant known for her elaborate and dubiously accurate storytelling.
Pyat Pree
Warlock from Qarth who led Daenerys on a hallucinogenic quest through the House of the Undying after the Thirteen stole her dragons. The dragons later burned him alive.
Pyp
Brother of the Night's Watch who was killed during the Wildling attack on the Wall.
Quaithe
Shadowbinder from Asshai who warned Ser Jorah to beware of men in Qarth who might want Daenerys's dragons. In the books, she was also notable for giving Dany a maddeningly vague prophecy about how to achieve her goals.
Qhorin Halfhand
Brother of the Night's Watch who led the ranging mission that ended with Jon getting captured by the Wildlings. Jon killed Qhorin to convince the Wildlings that he had truly deserted the Night's Watch.
Ros
Prostitute who lived near Winterfell then traveled south to King's Landing when Ned Stark departed to become Hand of the King. Joffrey murdered her in season three.
Ser Rodrik Cassel
Castellan and master-at-arms of Winterfell who accompanied Catelyn Stark on her journey to find out who was responsible for the attempt on Bran's life. Theon beheaded him during his takeover of Winterfell. Jory Cassel was Ser Rodrik's nephew.
Xaro Xhoan Daxos
Merchant of Qarth who attempted to woo Daenerys because he wanted her dragons. Daenerys locked him inside his own vault when she discovered his betrayal.
Styr
Magnar of Thenn (aka leader of the Thenn tribe of Wildlings) who was killed during the Wildling attack on the Wall.
Yoren
Night's Watch recruiter who led Arya north after her father's death.
Ser Donnel Waynwood
Knight in the service of House Arryn.
The Spice King
Merchant of Qarth who went by "The Spice King" because his name was allegedly too hard to pronounce. Pyat Pree killed him.
