If you watched the sneak peek for the June 5 episode of Love Island USA season 8, then you know that a new Bombshell is entering the Villa—and naturally, the internet has already tracked him down. After a photo of a guy named Corbin was accidentally uploaded onto the Love Island USA app (and then promptly shared on Reddit), internet sleuths got to work.
And it wasn’t long before they tracked down Corbin Mims from Miami.
So…who is he? According to his LinkedIn, Corbin is a recent graduate of Stetson University and a co-founder of Caicos Exclusive, which helps people book luxury vacation rental properties in Turks and Caicos.
Based on his Instagram, he also seems passionate about fitness—shocker!
Side note: Corbin’s comments on Instagram have been set to limited, which seems like further confirmation that he’s the new Bombshell. As a reminder, there is a new social media policy this season that prohibits contestants from having others manage their social accounts throughout the summer.
As Sean Reifel’s sister revealed in a social media comment, “They are not allowed to post on socials while they are filming! We are not allowed to post for them either.” Iiinteresting.
So…who is going to catch Corbin’s eye in the Villa? In the promo, Corbin can be seen making out with fellow Bombshell Kayda Bosse, who’s currently coupled up with Zach Georgiou, so it’s possible that Zach will have some competition.
As of Day 3, other couples in the Villa include Aniya Harvey and KC Chandler, Beatriz Hatz and Gabriel Vasconcelos, Bryce Dettloff and Trinity Tatum, and Melanie Moreno and Sincere Rhea, while Kenzie Annis and Sean Reifel are currently single.
However! There’s been some tension between Melanie and Sincere ever since he pulled Kayda for a chat, which means it’s possible that Corbin will turn Melanie’s head when he enters the Villa…
I, for one, will be tuned in tonight to see what goes down!
