Happy Love Island premiere week! Both Love Island USA and Love Island UK are dropping in a mere matter of hours/days, and keeping on top of the schedule is essential. After all, there is no greater horror than missing too many episodes in a row and becoming overwhelmed by the catch-up.
Love Island USA premieres June 2 at 9 p.m. ET on Peacock, while Love Island UK premieres June 1 at 9 p.m. BT on ITV. We’re truly blessed! But how do those of us in the United States watch Love Island UK? There are a couple of options.
You Can Stream Love Island UK on Hulu
But there’s a slight catch.
Love Island UK airs six nights a week (Sunday through Friday) at 9 p.m. in the UK, which is 4 p.m. ET for U.S. viewers. ITV has a streaming deal with Hulu, but unfortunately there’s a three-day delay. Meaning new episodes won’t be out until June 4, and you’ll have to avoid spoilers. However, if you want to watch the show in real time, there is another option…
You Can Download a VPN
Nothing hits like watching this show as it’s airing, so if the idea of consuming Love Island UK on a delay is simply intolerable, fair enough. But there’s a solution! U.S. viewers can download a VPN, which will make browsing anonymous. VPNs vary in cost, but—per Wired—“by routing your traffic through a server in another location, you can bypass geo-restrictions online, such as the content libraries available in different countries on Netflix.”
Wired has a great list of safe VPNs to consider, but just note: For the most part, you should avoid free ones.
