The Perfect Match season 4 finale is just days away, and though the series was filmed way back in November 2025, the drama is far from over. During a wild appearance on Love Is Blind and Perfect Match alum AD Smith’s podcast, What’s the Reality?, Alison Ogden got very candid about her fellow cast members, even giving her thoughts on her match Jimmy Sotos’s AAVE use.
“I remember when they released the cast and… I can’t lie, I wanted to hate him,” AD told Alison during the interview. “I went to his social media and I was like, ‘This guy is going to irritate the shit out of me. He’s going to piss me off.’ I’m like, ‘Why is he talking like that? What the hell is going on? Who is this guy?’”
She continued, “And then he falls for you and I’m like, ‘Wait a minute. He seems so sweet, so respectful, very genuine, very kind.’ Is that, would you say, a true representation?”
And while Alison didn’t exactly acknowledge the whole “why is he talking like that” part of the question, she did say, “I mean, yeah. He was just like all about me like the second he got there.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Alison gave her unfiltered thoughts on other cast members, including her original match, Yamen Sanders. When AD asked how she knew “it wasn’t going to be a romantic connection with him,” Alison said, “I think Yaman’s attractive. I thought he was a really good kisser. We definitely like made out a lot that first night. But other than that…I don’t mean to sound mean when I say this, but I just didn’t really think there was much substance to build off there with him.”
She added, “He was so dismissive of literally everything that I would say and do… Behind closed doors, I just thought he was very honestly self-centered, and he seemed like he was there to just like get his bag and get some more clout.”
In conclusion: “He’s so performative in front of the camera just presenting himself like he’s this phenomenal guy. I think genuinely he was putting on an act the entire time. I don’t think he gave a shit about anybody.”
Oh, and if you’re wondering how she feels about Yamen spoiling Perfect Match by going public with his Love Island: All Stars connection Whitney Adebayo? She’s…not pleased!
After calling his decision “disrespectful” and “hurtful,” Alison said, “We have, like, two rules to follow. Don’t go on another dating show before this one comes out, and don’t post about your current relationship status until after the show is aired because people want to like be able to learn what’s going to happen.”
And that wasn’t all. Alison also had something to say about Jimmy Presnell. “I think Jimmy was playing too many fucking games,” she said. “He kept saying, ‘I’m playing the game. I’m playing the game.’ What game are you playing, Jimmy? You were playing with people’s feelings.”
While Yamen has yet to respond to Alison’s claims (save for a vague video advising his followers to “embrace your haters”), Jimmy P. wasted no time defending himself, saying he and Ally Lewber had the “strongest connection in the house by far.”
