- Summer House’s Ciara Miller, West Wilson, and Amanda Batula are reportedly experiencing some love triangle drama.
- Bravo fans have been comparing the situation to Tom Sandoval, Ariana Madix, and Rachel Leviss’ Scandoval cheating scandal from Vanderpump Rules in 2023.
- Kristen Doute, who was on both Vanderpump Rules and The Valley, has reacted to the comparisons.
Bravo fans have been eating well this week. Unfortunately, some drama between Summer House’s West Wilson, Ciara Miller, and Amanda Batula is involved, but longtime viewers know that’s when the most deliciously chaotic moments come forth. I haven’t seen this much unity in the reality TV space since Vanderpump Rules’ infamous Scandoval cheating scandal involving Tom Sandoval, Ariana Madix, and Rachel Leviss took off in 2023—and now, one of VPR’s very own is weighing in on the inevitable comparisons between the two Bravo love triangles.
During the April 1 episode of Watch What Happens Live! with Andy Cohen, VPR alum Kristen Doute and The Drama’s Alana Haim reacted to the news of West and Amanda’s “connection.” Kristen, who was promoting season 3 of The Valley and is known for her own dramatic storylines on the network, admitted that she “feels for Ciara” amid the drama.
“How do you see the Amanda and West situation compared to what happened with Tom and Ariana? Because a lot of people are comparing the two,” Andy asked, to which she responded, “Uh. I don’t know how to really compare it to that. So I’m very new on hearing all of this. I didn’t know a lot of the drama. I just feel for Ciara.”
She added, “And listen, I’m not one to throw stones, before anyone tries to go back 14 years and be like, ‘Kristen, you know what you did.’ Blah blah blah. I’m a mom now.”
Of course, Kristen was likely reflecting on her Vanderpump cheating scandal when she admitted to sleeping with Jax Taylor while he was dating her best friend, Stassi Schroeder, and she was with Sandoval.
Elsewhere in the interview, Kristen concluded, “But I just really feel for Ciara, and I don’t think you should throw something away for a fling. Like, throw away all of your friends for a fling.”
She learned that lesson the hard way, which doesn’t make it easier to see history repeating itself on the same network.
