What’s The Other Bennet Sister Based On?
The show is about Mary Bennet from Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice, but it’s based on Janice Hadlow’s novel. I’ve read it, and am here to say it’s delightful and well-worth a read before the show drops state-side next month.
Per the (spoiler free!) log-line, “The new drama brings Mary Bennet—the oft-overlooked middle sister in Pride and Prejudice—into the spotlight.
