Not only are Taylor Frankie Paul’s Bachelorette contestants breaking their silence on Instagram, they’re giving anonymous interviews in the wake of the show’s cancellation.

“Part of me is just so fucking pissed,” one contestant, whose name was withheld, told E! News. “We all gave up so much to go do this. We all came in with open hearts. We treated her kindly and respectfully and gave her a second chance.”

The cast member added, “[We] tried to let her turn over a new leaf and we all believed her when she said she did. Obviously, the way she acted and the way she treated all of us in hindsight is just a waste of time, a waste of energy, a waste of emotional intelligence.”

ABC canceled The Bachelorette after TMZ released a video of a 2023 domestic incident between Taylor Frankie Paul and her ex, Dakota Mortensen. The anon contestant watched the video, and said, “I’m getting emotional even just thinking about it. It's pretty heavy for all of us. But at the end of the day, I pray that she gets help. I hope she gets the help that she needs.”

A Disney Entertainment Television spokesperson confirmed The Bachelorette’scancellation yesterday, saying, “In light of the newly released video just surfaced today, we have made the decision to not move forward with the new season of The Bachelorette at this time, and our focus is on supporting the family.”
