The American take on the UK’s beloved dating show is returning for a new season this summer, and it’ll be here before you know it! And while the season 8 cast hasn’t been announced just yet, Peacock has confirmed that Ariana Madix will be back to host.
As a reminder: Following all the season 7 casting drama, it was reported that Love Island USA producers were looking to cast “people who are very green to TV” with “not a lot of knowledge of the show or how it works” for the upcoming season. Per the insider, season 8 casting directors were keen on looking for people with “full, big personalities” and are prioritizing “confidence above all else,” adding, “They seem to want to deliver a type of cast they’ve never tried out before.”
