If you’re here, you don’t need us to tell you that Netflix’s Love Is Blind season 10 reunion brought so much tea to the table after the singles hit the pods and their respective altars. Aside from the Chris, Jess, and Haramol situation that broke through during the eventful reunion, Devonta Anderson also dropped a major bombshell about his relationship status after the show.

“I went into this wanting to be a husband and a father. Those were two of the most important things for me,” Devo, who was paired up with Brittany Wicker during the season, said during the reunion special.

He continued, “I got some exciting news that I am going to be a father this year.”

In a separate interview with Entertainment Weekly, he shared he was expecting the child with a woman he had met before he hit the pods.

“This is the biggest blessing ever. I’m ecstatic. It’s literally all I think about. I’m always on Pinterest looking at baby clothes, ideas, figuring all that stuff out,” he gushed, revealing that he had been with his new partner for “a little over two months” at the time.

As for who the mystery woman is? Devo admits they go way back, as they first met during their college days in Ohio.

“We have always known each other, we’ve never dated or anything. She’s always been a friend,” he explained. “We reconnected and it was like, ‘Wow.’ We look at the timeline and how fast things progressed, but I feel like I’ve known her my whole life. Whenever these big things that have happened in my life, she’s been there as a supporting friend.”

He continued, “It was a timing thing where I was like, ‘Man, this was exactly where I was supposed to end up.’ And it’s just felt electric ever since. I knew I wanted to be a father.”

But, as viewers saw Devo pursuing Brittany on the show, his ex-girlfriend, Taylor Carr, accused him of cheating on her when they dated from July to December 2025. And, long before the season 10 reunion hit the streamer, Taylor initially dropped the bomb that Devonta was expecting his child with another woman during a February 27 appearance on the Reality Receipts podcast.

Turns out her tip was very true!
