Which ‘Age of Attraction’ Couples Are Still Together? Learn Their Relationship Statuses Ahead of the Reunion

Attention, reality dating show fans: The Age of Attraction season 1 finale is here! Netflix’s latest dating experiment (hosted by Bachelor Nation’s Nick Viall and Natalie Joy) followed 40 singles as they mingled, dated, and eventually decided to commit without ever knowing the other participants’ ages—at least, until they entered the Promise Room together. Wondering who’s still together after the Commitment Ceremony in the final episode? Here are all the Age of Attraction couples who stepped out of the Promise Room together…and where they currently stand.

While the age gap proved to be too much for a few couples (including Joleen Diaz and West Mandell, as well as Tristan Davis and Erin Timm), the first drop of episodes gave us—*drumroll, pls*—six couples who chose to give their relationship a shot after revealing their ages.

During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, all of the final couples revealed their relationship statuses today, nearly a year after filming. You can expect to hear more details during the reunion, but here’s what’s been revealed so far.

Age gap: 27 years

Status: Broken up

John Merrill is a 27-year-old working in software sales, while Theresa DeMaria is a 54-year-old stylist who—fun fact—worked with Carolyn Bessette back in the ’90s. From the jump, these two were a couple to root for…and during the Commitment Ceremony, they ended up deciding to give their relationship a shot in the real world.

Unfortunately, they later revealed to ET that their love didn’t last. “We dated for, like, six months after the show,” John explained, “and just being out in public, she…it just wore, wore, wore on her. That’s what ended up breaking us up.”

Age gap: 20 years

Status: Engaged

49-year-old salon owner Vanessa Drozda had been engaged four times but has never been married…while 29-year-old Logan Goodrid (who works in corporate purchasing) had never been engaged. Well, that all changed during the Commitment Ceremony when Logan asked for Vanessa’s promise ring back—and then replaced it with an engagement ring!!

It has since been revealed that these two are still engaged and going strong. “We’re still together,” Logan confirmed to ET.

Age gap: 20 years

Status: Broken up

Derrick Fleming is a 43-year-old father of two who works in medical sales and wants someone who shares his positive outlook. Pfeifer Hill is a 23-year-old graphic designer who describes herself as a “whirlwind of fun,” and it seemed like she was exactly what Derrick was looking for! Of course, that involved relocating to Dallas and becoming a stepmother to two sons, but during the Commitment Ceremony, Pfeifer decided she was ready to do just that.

Alas, things didn’t pan out for these two. When asked by ET whether Pfeifer had taken that next step yet and moved to Dallas, Derrick said, “That’s a negative for us. It didn’t happen…I’m no longer with Pfeifer.”

Age gap: 15 years

Status: Broken up

26-year-old public speaker/business owner Chris Dahlan and 41-year-old flight attendant Leah Woolfolk had the smallest age gap of all the featured couples…but their 15-year age gap still proved to be too much for Chris to handle. While Leah said she was ready to commit to Chris at the top of the mountain, he said he didn’t feel the same way.

Age gap: 16 years

Status: Still together

Andrew Wheeler is a 38-year-old bar owner and father of two looking for a “fairytale ending,” while Libby Vodicka is a 22-year-old social media manager hoping to find someone more mature than she usually dates. The two eventually decided to leave the experiment as boyfriend and girlfriend…and apparently, they’re still going strong!

As Andrew revealed to ET, the “next step” in their relationship is for Libby to move from San Diego to Baltimore so that they can start to get more serious.

Age gap: 33 years

Status: Broken up

With the largest age gap among the couples, 60-year-old attorney Jorge Sanchez and 27-year-old project manager Vanelle Fenmou had the odds stacked against them—but according to Vanelle, their split had less to do with age and more to do with a “situation” that occurred off camera, involving an altercation with a man in the street.

According to Jorge, “We had an incident yesterday where some crazy guy comes walking up, you know, making threatening remarks. And I told him he better back up… So we exchanged comments, we exchanged remarks, and Vanelle took that some kind of way.”

And in Vanelle’s retelling: “I felt uncomfortable in that situation, and I just felt like it could have been handled differently.”

Tbh, these two never really stood a chance.
