- Vic St. John and Christine Hamilton have emerged as the strongest couple on Love Is Blind season 10, forming an instant connection in the pods and avoiding major drama.
- Fans began speculating they were “plants” cast by production—especially after they were sent to Malibu instead of Cabo after the pods.
- Vic addressed rumors on social media, pushing back on claims that their relationship is fake or “boring.”
If you’ve been watching the hot mess that is Love Is Blind season 10, then you know that Vic St. John and Christine Hamilton are far and away the best pairing to come out of Ohio. The public policy professor and speech-language pathologist seemingly hit it off instantaneously in the pods, and things have been smooth sailing between them ever since. So smooth, in fact, that there’s been a viral theory circulating that Vic and Christine are plants cast by production following the zero marriages that came out of last season.
Fans first became suspicious when Vic and Christine went to Malibu for their post-engagement getaway rather than Cabo with the rest of the pod squad. Love Is Blind creator Chris Coelen even admitted to Entertainment Weekly that the two were sent on their own trip because they “really didn’t have any of those unresolved threads” to work out with other cast members. But as the weeks went on and the couple continued to get little screen time, Vic eventually took to social media to address those plant allegations…as well as claims that his relationship is “boring.”
“Seemingly healthy relationships can present boring. It can trigger skepticism & think pieces disguised as truths,” Vic wrote in a post on Threads. “In part, for valid reasons because the world exposes us to wicked things & pain. I entered the experiment with faith, an open mind & heart…not with discrimination/hate.”
He continued, “I’ve seriously dated women of diff races. I came looking for a potential wife & if you think the color of the person’s skin would change the decisions in episodes 1-3, you don’t know me. I pray for societies healing.”
This isn’t the first time he’s addressed the “boring” allegations, either. While chatting with the New York Post, Vic acknowledged that his relationship with Christine is, perhaps, a little boring—and that’s not a bad thing!
“I was not expecting that sort of reaction,” he said of the fans who’ve been rooting for him and Christine. “Because I feel like [we were]…I would use the term ‘boring’ in the sense that I feel like viewership and the public want more chaos.”
He added, “I’ve gotten some [commenters] who’ve said, ‘I appreciate how you represent Black men in terms of your vulnerability, your openness, and how you comported yourself. I’ve gotten comments about faith. They’re like, ‘In a world where we shy away from talking about these things, it can be normalized and it doesn’t mean you’re holier than thou.’”
In conclusion: If these two ^^^ aren’t the real deal, I’m quitting LIB forever.
