• In episode 10 of Love Is Blind season 10, Bri McNees and Connor Spies decide to call off their wedding.
  • Bri said work stress made her feel she wasn’t showing up fully in the relationship, and she worried Connor wasn’t getting the “best version” of her.
  • Here’s where the couple stands following the tense convo.

The Love Is Blind season 10 finale will likely see several couples make their way down the aisle…but unfortunately, Bri McNees and Connor Spies won’t be one of them. In episode 10, the two had a candid conversation about whether they were really ready to say “I do,” and Bri ultimately admitted—just two days before they were supposed to get married—that she wasn’t there yet. But did she and Connor actually break up?

The scene was a bit confusing, which is why I’m here to clarify whether Bri and Connor are still together following that conversation…and more importantly, if they’re still together now. Starting with…

Why did Bri and Connor call off the wedding?

According to Bri, the decision to call off the wedding was partially due to stress she was experiencing at work. Bri (who is a senior merchant at Bath & Body Works corporate) said her career had been causing her not to “show up” for Connor, and as a result, she felt like he wasn’t getting “the best version” of her.

What’s more: Bri went on to add that—after seeing the state of Connor’s home and car—she feared that he didn’t “give a shit about anything” and wouldn’t be able to “out-alpha” her, as she expected a partner to do. (Seems like her conversation with Chris Fusco may have gotten to her a bit…)

Later in a confessional, Bri explained, “I can’t say with certainty that he’s not my person. That’s the hard part. I hate that I have to say, ‘No, I’m not ready.’ I hate to be saying things like, ‘Are you a lesson to learn, or are you the love of my life?’ It’s really hard to understand why I’m going backwards. I don’t know why.”

That said, Connor—though caught off guard—didn’t seem to think this was the end for them. “I mean, there’s a reason that we fell in love sight unseen,” he said in his own confessional. “That’s something I’ll remember forever—my entire life. And hopefully it’s a connection that brings us even to the altar someday.”

What caused Bri to change her mind?

As Bri later confessed to Tudum, the wedding dress try-on was a big turning point for her. “I had a gigantic menty b after the wedding dresses,” Bri said. “I took that dress off and I hyperventilated in a corner with my mom, and I was like, ‘I can’t do this.’ That’s when I went home to Connor and was like, ‘We’ve got to really reconsider how far we’re going to take this.’”

For her, everything just felt too rushed and not quite right. “I didn’t feel like this was the ideal state [for the wedding],” she continued. “Connor was like, ‘I want to get you that ring that you described in the pods and propose to you again,’ because he got the last pick [of rings]. I wanted to go to SoHo in New York for a girls’ trip, try on all the dresses in tears, and be like, ‘This is it.’ We envisioned having this big celebration with our friends and our family. It was feeling very forced.”

Are Bri and Connor still together?

It’s unclear whether the convo they had in episode 10 was, indeed, a breakup—though Connor certainly didn’t seem to think so. For what it’s worth: They do follow each other on Instagram, so it’s possible that they decided to give their relationship a chance even after calling off the wedding.

Fans won’t know for sure, though, until the Love Is Blind season 10 reunion airs on Wednesday, March 11!
