Rob Rausch has become one of the more divisive players on The Traitors Season 4, mostly thanks to the fact that he turned on his fellow traitors Lisa Rinna and Candiace Dillard-Bassett. On the one hand, uncool. On the other hand, this is a game! But the decision has created a lot of chatter, and TikToker Kiera Breaugh notes that Rob can (and has!) let his emotions get the better of him.

"This man used to be emotional! He used to get emotional in game-playing situations," Breaugh said while talking about Rob's time on Love Island USA. "I think he’s such a good gaslighter. And isn’t it crazy when you see an attractive man gaslight in an effective way and, you at home, get triggered? And you at home are like, why do I feel gaslit!"

Apparently Rob saw the video, and he issued a very lengthy response in the comments:

"Yeah I did freaking lose it on love island," he said. "I wasn’t there playing a game. I had an extremely emotional response to a situation that felt like the end of the world at the time bc let me tell you LI does something to your brain chemistry. heck yeah I messed up and said and did things so wrong however I took accountability and apologized to everyone involved and meant it."

He added, "Oddly enough having that crash out prepared me for this game bc once I finally got out I realized how much I was over reacting and ridiculous it was. I needed to remove myself from where I was and change my perspective. I will say and I’m %100 sure anyone from my cast would agree being in that villa does something to you. It’s a very well designed system for drama and high emotions. However it’s not an excuse I messed up and I’ve learned from it. Yall can say whatever you want about me Ik who I am. I’ve grown and learned so much since love island. And I’m only saying this now bc I know it to be true within myself. "

Now seems like a good time to mention The Traitors reunion is filming in a mere matter of days and I, for one, cannot wait.
