If you've been craving a new murder mystery to sink your teeth into, allow me to introduce you to what will surely become a major obsession: Emilia Clarke and Haley Lu Richardson's PONIES. The show, which premieres January 15 on Peacock, follows Bea (Emilia) and Twila (Haley Lu) who are working anonymously as secretaries in the American Embassy in Moscow during the Cold War. When their husbands are killed under suspicious and mysterious circumstances, they become a very unlikely spy duo.

The team behind the show is legendary. It was co-created by Susanna Fogel, who is also responsible for The Flight Attendant, and David Iserson (Mr. Robot). As previously mentioned, it stars Emilia (Game of Thrones) and Haley Lu (The White Lotus). And if that weren't enough, the rest of the creative team has credits on shows like New Girl, Black Mirror, Station Eleven, and Mr. Robot.

Or, if you're too lazy to click playand would rather read, here are some highlights. Like Emilia explained, PONIES stands for "Persons Of No Interest." "We play two wives of CIA operatives that are stationed in Moscow. We uncover a can of worms that results in us being very good spies," she said.

Her character Bea is a particular brand of high-achieving. One of those women who is really trying to do it all. "When you first meet Bea, she went to Wellesley, she studied Russian, she married her childhood sweetheart. She's on the path to be the perfect wife, perfect mother, perfect woman," Emilia said. "I mean, I can't relate at all. It's outrageous that they cast me."

Haley Lu's character Twila, on the other hand, is the opposite. "Twila is loud, and a lot, and uninhibited, she is naturally a very big, bold, fearless human being," Haley Lu said. If Bea is uptight, Twila is colorful. But they come together to make a whole.

And if that weren't enough, Haley Lu described the show as "sexy, crazy, dark, wild." Okay, yeah, I'm sold.
