Has Slow Horses season 6 been confirmed?
Yes! The show's next series was confirmed almost a year ago, on October 14, 2024.
When will Slow Horses season 6 premiere?
It's probably too soon to tell when season 6 will debut on or screens. However, it's worth noting that the show has already been filmed (!!) so there shouldn't be any production delays.
With season 5 having begun airing in September 2025, we might guess that the release for the next season will follow a similar pattern and premiere in autumn 2026.
What book is Slow Horses season 6 based on?
The season will be based on Joe Country and Slough House, the sixth and seventh novels in Mick Herron’s Slough House book series, on which Slow Horses is based.
Joe Country introduces new recruit Lech Wicinski and also sees Jackson Lamb “even the score” by sending the slow horses after a man who has previously killed another one of the slow horses.
Slough House deals with the impact of Brexit as well as a growing populist movement, and members of the slow horses dying under unusual circumstances.
What will happen in Slow Horses season 6?
According to Apple TV+: “Season 6 sees the Slow Horses on the run as Diana Taverner embroils them all in a fatally high-stakes game of retaliation and revenge.”
Who will be in the Slow Horses season 6 cast?
So far, it has been confirmed that Gary Oldman will return for the next season of Slow Horses, but little has been said about the other key members of the cast.
The outcome of Season 5 will likely determine which cast members return for Slow Horses season 6.
