TV’s most iconic night will be held at L.A.’s Peacock Theater, airing Sunday, Sept. 14 at 8 p.m. ET.
How can I watch the 2025 VMAs?
This year’s show will be airing live on CBS and streaming on Paramount+ in the U.S. Just a head’s up: You'll need a Paramount+ Premium plan to access the stream live and on demand. Paramount+ Essential subscribers will not have the option to stream live, but they will have access to on-demand the day after the special airs.

Who is nominated?
Among this year’s nominees, Severance is leading the pack with 27 nods, including Outstanding Drama Series, Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series, and Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series. Other top nominated shows include The Penguin (which scored 24 nods) as well as The Studio and The White Lotus (which both earned 23). Here’s the full list.

Is there a pre-show?
Yep! Live From E! will be airing the Emmys red carpet live on Sunday, Sept. 14, kicking off at 6 p.m. ET with hosts Zuri Hall and Heather McMahan.
Entertainment Tonight is also celebrating Emmy night with a live one-hour red carpet pre-show airing on CBS and Paramount+, hosted by Kevin Frazier and Nischelle Turner.
