This week on The Summer I Turned Pretty, Belly takes off for the City of Lights to have herself a lil “Eat Pray Love” moment, and fans are dying to know: Will either Conrad or Jeremiah follow Belly to Paris? With two episodes remaining in season 3, we don’t have an answer yet...but a few TikToks making the rounds online seem to suggest (spoiler alert!) that not only will Jeremiah appear in Paris, but Conrad will, too.
On Sept. 1, @guywithamoviecamera took to TikTok to share a video of TSITP stars Christopher Briney and Gavin Casalegno, where they make fun of their TV mom Susannah for mixing up Jeremiah and Conrad’s letters. Nothing sus about that...except for the fact that the video was seemingly filmed a while ago...and in Paris.
As one commenter wrote: “Sooooo we’re just casually posting from Paris all nonchalant now? Cool. Cool cool cool.” My thoughts exactly!!
That’s not the only evidence that Jeremiah will take a trip to Paris later this season. Back in October 2024, a fan shared a video on TikTok that showed Gavin pulling Lola Tung into an embrace on the streets of Paris. The caption: “My mom sent me this??! She leaves me to go to Paris and sees The Summer I Turned Pretty Filming.”
Explain yourselves!
For the record: In the books, Belly studies abroad in Spain rather than Paris, and neither Conrad nor Jeremiah pay her a visit (though, as the latest TSITP trailer teased, she and Conrad do exchange letters). So really, anything could happen at this point, and The Summer I Turned Pretty author Jenny Han has said as much.
As she told Entertainment Weekly back in May when asked about the final season, “There are surprises. And there are things that aren’t exactly like the books.”
Oh, and btw: Apparently, we should have all seen Belly’s decision to ditch her wedding and fly to Paris coming. Jenny recently revealed that she dropped an Easter egg in the first episode of the season with the song “Open Arms” by SZA ft. Travis Scott, which fully features the lyric “C’est la vie, go to Paris.”
