Okay, we’ll say it: Jennifer Coolidge’s presence on The White Lotus is dearly missed. The fan-favorite actor appeared on the first two seasons as goofy heiress Tanya McQuoid, and was possibly killed by her husband, Greg, in Italy during the last season finale. And, if you’re like us and tune in every Sunday, you know that Greg now goes by Gary and is fleeing from authorities in Thailand with his new girlfriend, Chloe.
While Jen isn’t involved in The White Lotus season 3, she’s caught up like the rest of us—and she’s entered the chat on Greg/Gary and the incestuous threesome featuring Patrick Schwarzenegger and Sam Nivola’s characters.
“When I heard that Mike was doing another White Lotus in Thailand, I was sort of thinking, ‘What could Mike possibly come up with? What could Mike White come up with that was sort of, you know, top all these sort of weird, you know, storylines he has?’” Jennifer told E! News at the A Minecraft Movie premiere on March 30.
“And he has topped it,” she continued. “He comes up with something, like I can’t think of...This is sort of a thing that people would be talking about for a very long time, and you know what I’m talking about. And that’s Mike White for you.”
As for Greg, Jennifer hopes he “goes down in flames” before the season wraps. “I don’t know what Mike has planned for him, but I don’t want him to have a good life,” she added. “You know, something terrible needs to happen to Greg, don’t you think?”
