Just as Love Is Blind ends season 8, another Netflix reality TV show jumps in to take its place. And we have spent our last few days glued to the screen watching all 10 episodes of Temptation Island (also, Netflix, if you’re reading this, thanks for dropping all the episodes at once 🫶). Now after getting fairly to attached to their love story, we need to know...are Alexa and Lino still together after the finale?
Alexa and Lino were one of four couples who entered the wild TV experiment. The four couples arrive on the island and are split up and move into two different villas, with both being full of singles. The people from the couples get to know the singles and test their own relationship by seeing if they’ll fall to temptation. Every few episodes, the couples get to see what their other half has been up to in the other villa and at the end of the show, they must decide whether to stay together, break up or couple up with someone new from the villas.
So what happened with Alexa and Lino’s journey on the show? Here’s what you need to know.
Who are Temptation Island’s Alexa and Lino?
Alexa and Lino are both 28 years old and they’ve been together for three and a half years before entering the TV show.
They decided to go on Temptation Island as Lino has been struggling with feeling like he is Alexa’s “second choice” because when they started their relationship, Alexa was also seeing someone else. They wanted to test the strength of their relationship before making the next step together.

What happened with Alexa and Lino on Temptation Island?
Throughout Temptation Island Alexa and Lino are the only couple to not engage in any real temptation. They both chat to other people and have good dates, but they’re always on a friendship basis, with the occasional bit of flirting.
As the series progressed it became clear of the strength of their feelings for each other, and they wouldn’t be swayed into getting to know anyone else on a romantic level.
Toward the end of the show, they get the chance to send each other a message and they both convey their love for each other and try to send reassurance.
During the final dates, Lino uses his to go engagement ring shopping with one of the female friends he’s made in the villa. Cut to the the final bonfire and the couple have of course chosen to stay together and leave the island in a relationship.
However, before they can leave the island, Lino leads Alexa to a path covered in flowers and gets down on one knee to propose, which Alexa happily accepts.
Are Lino and Alexa still together after Temptation Island?
Yes! A week after the show premiered, Lino and Alexa confirmed that they are still together and engaged, sharing a sweet post on Instagram. “We can finally say WE ARE ENGAGED!!” they wrote in a joint post.
“This is only the beginning of our love story, and we can’t wait to take all of you along with us,” they wrote in part, seemingly teasing many more details to come! “You’ve witnessed firsthand that no temptation is greater than true love. Because in the end, love will always win.”
The two expanded on their post-show journey in an interview with Tudum. After filming, they went off on a little Hawai‘ian vacation of their own to discuss everything that happened. “There was nothing for us to hide. Because we had time together to lay everything our, our communication got better,” Alexa told Tudum. As for how Lino and Alexa are balancing their careers, they have a plan. “I have entrepreneurial aspirations that align with Alexa,” Lino revealed. According to Tudum, they plan on eventually settling down in Florida and opening a clinic together.
A couple days before Lino and Alexa officially confirmed their relationship status, Lino uploaded a very interesting post to Instagram, recreating the scene when he asked Alexa’s dad for his blessing before proposing. In the pic, he is wearing the same red hat and FaceTiming Alexa’s dad while the scene plays on the television in front of him.
He even responded to a fan who commented that he and Alexa “are perfect for one another,” saying, “Those words mean so much!! We appreciate your love and support.”
