This season of Love Is Blind spent an unusually long time in the pods, with episodes devoted to Mason Horacek, Meg Fink, Madison Errichiello, and Alex Brown’s love quadrangle, even though they all left the pods single! Or so we thought. It turns out that despite their emotional breakup, Meg and Mason rekindled their romance IRL post-pod life. Their relationship was confirmed in episode 11, “Sliding Down Slopes and Into DMs,” but are Meg and Mason still together now?
What happened between Meg and Mason in the pods on Love Is Blind?
Quick recap: Meg, a 31-year-old oncology nurse, and Mason, a 33-year-old cinematographer, dated in the pods and had an instant connection. They bonded over their belief in aliens, their goofy senses of humor, and their laid-back attitudes. But Mason also had a deep connection with Madison, and he struggled to pick a number one.
Eventually, he went all in on Madison just as she decided to commit to Alex. Unfortunately for Mason, Madison warned Meg that Mason had told her that she was his number one, and when she confronted Mason, Meg just wasn’t able to trust that she wasn’t Mason’s second choice. They broke up and left the pods solo.
Meg and Mason then got together after, off-camera.
Plot twist! In episode 11, Meg and Mason popped back into Love Is Blind and made their couple debut. The two waltzed hand in hand into a cast reunion at a local bar, and while they didn’t explicitly label their relationship—Mason said they were “hanging out,” whatever that means—they seemed very much together.
Apparently, it didn’t take long for them to get in touch after the pods. “So after I left, I was like, ‘I’m not talking to the guy,’” Meg recounted to the group. “And then the second I got my phone, I was like, How’s Mason? And then I messaged him.” She asked him how he was doing, to which he apparently responded, “I’m doing a lot worse now that I know you’re gorgeous.” Long story short: They decided to get to know each other, even putting on their own private reveal moment, and the rest, as they say, is Love Is Blind history.
Are Meg and Mason still together now?
While fans had hoped that Meg and Mason were still going strong (evidence was analyzed based on a cast photo posted by fellow season 8 cast member Brittany Dodson, etc.), the two confirmed at the Love Is Blind season 8 reunion that they were no longer dating but continued to be “best friends.” According to Mason, the two “tried dating” a few times last year, but “something was off” and they decided to be just friends. “I can easily say that having Meg from this experience has been the best part of this experience by far,” Mason said.
