Silence. Sometimes, it can be a source of comfort. Other times, it can be downright terrifying. Or in the case of the Quiet Place universe, it could be the very thing that saves your life. That is precisely what the characters in the latest Quiet Place prequel will come to find out—and fast. Starring Lupita Nyong’o and Joseph Quinn (hello, Eddie from Stranger Things!), A Quiet Place: Day One serves as the third installment in the franchise and provides an account of what the first terrifying day of the invasion looked like in New York City. The film is slated to hit theaters on June 28, but why let your journey stop there? Whether you’re in need of a refresher on the franchise or simply want to give yourself a few extra nightmares this week, both A Quiet Place and A Quiet Place Part II are available for streaming. You just have to know where to look…
Where are A Quiet Place and A Quiet Place Part II streaming?
Both films are available to stream on Paramount+, which makes sense given that Paramount Pictures serves as the distributor for each production. So the good news is that if you have a subscription already (or aren’t opposed to getting one), then your viewing experience is only a few easy clicks away!
What if I don’t have Paramount+?
For those of you who don’t have a Paramount+ account and aren’t interested in signing up for one, both movies are also available on Hulu’s premium subscription. Other streaming options include FXNOW (which is free if you have cable), fuboTV, SlingTV, as well as YouTube TV and The Roku Channel (for those with premium subscriptions).
Additionally, if you’re willing to shell out a little extra cash, you can rent or buy both films on Amazon Prime. Both movies cost a total of $2.29 each to rent, but if you’d rather own them outright, A Quiet Place amounts to $6.49, while A Quiet Place Part II will only set you back $3.49. Renting or buying on AppleTV is another viable option as well, costing $3.99 to rent and $7.99 (A Quiet Place) or $4.99 (A Quiet Place Part II) to buy. Needless to say, you’ve got a ton of options at your disposal!
When will A Quiet Place: Day One be available for streaming?
As of now, no announcement has been made regarding when, where, or even if the prequel will start streaming anywhere in the foreseeable future. So one option is to see it the old-fashioned way and buy movie tickets.
But if I had to hazard a guess, the movie will probably end up in the very same streaming platforms as its predecessors at some point down the road after its initial theatrical release. But shhh, you didn’t hear that from me.
