The Crown just dropped the first half of its final season, with Part 2 debuting on December 14. And while this is a largely spoiler-free zone, one thing we *can* expect from the season's second installment? Prince William and Kate Middleton's relationship: the early years.

A teaser for the final episodes—which pops up on Netflix as soon as you've finished the last episode of Part 1—makes it clear that William's status as a heartthrob will occupy plenty of screen time. Plus, we're also treated to some quick footage of what appears to be his and Kate's first kiss:

We have a whole timeline of exactly how Kate and William met and started dating right on over this way, but their relationship apparently took a turn for the romantic after Kate walked the runway in a totally sheer dress, which prompted William to reportedly tell his friend Fergus (lol), "Wow, Fergus, Kate’s hot!"

A source also revealed to royal reporter Katie Nicholl that William "actually told her she was a knockout that night, which caused her to blush. There was definitely chemistry between them and Kate had really made an impression on William. And at one point when William seemed to lean in to kiss her, she pulled away. She didn’t want to give off the wrong impression or make it too easy on Will."

Soooo, guess it's possible The Crown kiss could be that ^ moment? Guess you'll have to wait and see on December 14!
