Loki is finally back for its second season and while there are plenty of mishaps happening around the TVA and various other timelines, there are some things that stay the same no matter what. And yes, we're talking about the wonderful tradition of Marvel post-credit scenes. After completely forgoing them in Secret Invasion, it looks like they're back in Loki season 2 and fans are already having fun seeing them come out. So what exactly happened?

Here’s everything you need to know about the end-credit scenes in Loki season 2.

Are there any end-credit scenes in Loki season 2? How many?

Post-credit scenes are officially back in Marvel TV shows after Secret Invasion skipped out of them completely. With only one episode out right now, it's the only confirmed post-credit scene so there's still a chance we get more or that this might be the single post-credit scene that we get. Either way, at least the tradition seems to be back for this new season.

What happens in each of them? Can I get a breakdown?

In case you missed it or you might need a bit of a refresh later on in the season, here are all the post-credit scenes in Loki season 2 (so far):

Episode 1: “Ouroboros

After the initial credits, we see Sylvie coming out of a portal and arriving in the middle of a field in Broxton, Oklahoma in 1982. She later walks into a McDonald's where she goes up to try to order something to eat. She gets emotional seeing the different people hanging out with their loved ones and responds that she would "like to try everything" to the person at the counter before the scene fades to black.

In the comics, Broxton is where Thor and other Asgardians lived after Thanos' snap. Meanwhile, Sylvie is also named after a character who lived there and she later becomes the Enchantress.

“It’s mostly a tip of the hat to fans,” Kevin Wright, executive producer on Loki season 2, told Polygon, “And just a little bit of a nod to the DNA of [Sylvie].”

How does this connect with the rest of the MCU?

Well, since the show is still airing, it's still a little too early to say. But considering there are multiple timelines at stake, no doubt some of these will link with the future of the MCU somehow.
