With the big season 2 finale already causing a big splash and wondering what is going to happen next with the lawyer with a moving office, things are definitely getting a lot more personal and interesting. Is The Lincoln Lawyer season 3 happening?
The court will officially be back in session. On August 30, 2023, Netflix revealed that the series had been renewed for a third season that will be comprised of 10 episodes.
What will The Lincoln Lawyer season 3 be about?
We're getting deep into spoiler territory right now, so beware if you haven't seen every episode in season 2 just yet.
The season 2 finale saw Mickey successfully defending Lisa Trammell, but also discovering that she likely killed her husband and buried him in her backyard (just normal things). But that's not even the biggest surprise. Mickey receives a very interesting phone call from someone who has been booked for murder saying that his friend told him to call him for anything. When Mickey goes to ID the body, he learns that it's no other than Gloria Dayton AKA Glory Days.
This follows the exact plot as the fifth book in The Lincoln Lawyer book series, The Gods of Guilt. So if you definitely can't wait to find out what happens next, you may want to pick up the book to find out ASAP.
Who is coming back for The Lincoln Lawyer season 3?
Netflix confirmed in their renewal press release that Manuel Garcia-Rulfo will return as Mickey Haller as well as Becki Newton (Lorna), Jazz Raycole (Izzy), Angus Sampson (Cisco) and Yaya DaCosta (Andrea Freemann). Noticeably absent is Neve Campbell, who has played Maggie McPherson who was later confirmed to be coming back in a recurring role.
When will season 3 of The Lincoln Lawyer be released?
The show will be officially back on October 17, 2024. Netflix released a special trailer in September showing Mickey facing the worst that he's ever had to deal with as he tries to solve Glory Days' murder case. Who did it? Well, that's just one of the big mysteries that Haller will have to solve.
