Shakespeare once said, “The course of true love never did run smooth,” and I can only assume he was having some prophetic vision into the future and talking about Zach Shallcross’s season of The Bachelor. Which, much like every other Bachelor season before it, was a mess due to 1 man dating 31 women at once. Zach lucked out in the end and is still in the whole engaged-but-getting-to-know-each-other-post-Bachelor part of his ~journey~, and ABC has already gone ahead and cast its next Bachelorette!!!! Enter: Charity Lawson.

Get to know all the details on Charity below, including her Instagram, her job, her age, what she’s looking for in a relationship, and spoilers about her future on the franchise.

First Up, Here’s Charity’s Insta and TikTok

She Has a Really Admirable Job

Twenty-seven-year-old Charity works as a child and family therapist in Columbus, Georgia, and ABC says she “is extremely passionate about helping people live their best lives.” Honestly, based on this fact alone, she’s one of our fave people ever.

“I get the great opportunity as a therapist to love people as Jesus loved,” she wrote in the above Insta when she graduated from Auburn University. “This field of work is so beautiful, and I’m passionate about always advocating for mental health in today’s society. One of the most powerful tools we as humans have is our minds, it’s important we treat it as such, and take care of it. I know for certain my growth will forever be evolving.”

She Wants a Guy Who Shares Her Morals

Way back when, ABC said, “Charity hopes her future husband is honest, loyal, and shares similar morals,” and she thinks Zach could be a “perfect match” for her. And although that didn’t quite work out, there will surely be *tons* of other guys who can hopefully fit the bill in her Bachelorette season.

Her Fave Movie Is The Notebook

Other “fun facts” Charity shared with ABC aside from this? That she wants to “move to Disney World one day” and that she can “throw a mean ax.” So yeah, just gonna go ahead and assume ABC producers have already planned a Disney World ax-throwing date involving period costumes.

She Got Her First One-on-One in Estonia

After several group dates, Charity finally got solo time with Zach during the former Bachelor’s trip to Estonia. Reality Steve actually published photos of them on a date in the country’s capital, Tallinn—and yep, she even received a rose!

She Made It to Zach’s Final Four

Meaning, Zach visited Charity and her family in Georgia. Their hometown date was filmed on November 4, 2022, but sadly, no pictures were taken. Also, sadly? Charity was sent home by Zach—leaving Gabi Elnicki, Ariel Frenkel, and Kaity Biggar as his final three.

As for who won that season? You can find the answer to that right on this way 👀:
