Attention: Olivia Dean just performed “Man I Need” at the 2026 Grammys wearing the cutest sparkly red minidress, and it’s time to totally zone out of the rest of the show because all that matters is watching this on repeat.

I mean, c’mon. Just see for yourself.

Gotta assume you’re no longer reading due to continuously watching her performance on repeat ^, but just in case...reminder that Olivia was nominated for Best New Artist, even though her sophomore album, The Art of Loving, was released in September (which is outside the eligibility window for the 2026 awards). Luckily, three of her singles were issued in time for her to make the ballot: “Nice to Each Other,” “Lady Lady,” and “Man I Need.”

She took to Instagram back in November to celebrate the huge milestone, writing, “Had to take a sec to process this but i’ve been nominated for a Grammy 🥲 thank u world and the @recordingacademy ! no words.”

When asked about her rise to fame during a December interview with Nylon, Olivia noted the importance of staying true to herself and her distinct sound. “It’s really exciting right now. It’s moving in a way that people are more individuals,” she said of today’s pop landscape.”

She continued, “I personally don’t feel any competition whatsoever or any comparative nature with any of my peers in that way. The women are just absolutely dominating music in general right now, which is amazing.”

Also important to Olivia? Making music that reflects her real life. “I would never write a song if it wasn’t something that actually happened to me,” she told Nylon, later adding, “I do it for the feeling of the documentary-ness of it. I do it so that I can listen back to it in 10 years and be like, ‘Okay, that was about that breakup.’ ‘That was about that time in my life.’ That’s interesting to me.”
