Miley Cyrus’s upcoming album can’t come soon enough, and it truly has something for everyone. In case you needed proof, the Grammy winner has masterfully showcased her range across the album’s first three singles.
Its title track included elements of jazz and psychedelic rock while “End of the World” paid homage to ‘70s disco pop acts like ABBA and Cher. Of course, “More to Lose” joined the ranks of Miley’s stunning repertoire of ballads, and her new track keeps the disco vibes going. Something Beautiful officially drops on May 30, along with Miley’s next single, “Easy Lover,” which she teased on TikTok.
In gray sweats and a triangle bralette, Miley pranced around her rehearsal space with other dancers and her choreographer, counting the steps off-camera.
Fans were quick to flood the Hannah Montana alum’s comments section in anticipation for the album and its next single. “MILEY SERVING CHOREO?? RECESSION INDICATOR,” one fan jokingly wrote, while another added, “MILEY IS DANCING???? Helloo???? Queen coming to feed us.”
Others are even holding out hope for a potential tour, as they wrote comments like, “begging on my hands and knees for a tour PLEASE” and “oh she’s rehearsing for the tour.”
During an intimate album listening event hosted with Spotify at New York City’s Metrograph on Tuesday, May 6, Miley opened up about what Something Beautiful signifies for her at this point in her nearly 2-decade career.
“There’s such a spectrum of beauty, and some of it incorporates heartbreak and loss, or death or pain—but sometimes it’s flowers and rainbows and new love. There’s always something to look forward to,” Miley said at the time before revealing she made the record with longtime fans in mind.
“I’m also gagged by this movie. Any chance that I have, like everything, I make it for both of us. I make it for me to love it and for you to love it. There’s no one else that really matters,” she said of her visual album, which drops on May 30 via Columbia Records. Her short film of the same name will be in theaters for one night only on June 12.
