Danielle, Este, and Alana Haim have hit the recording studio, which means it’s finally Haim time. The sisters just released their new track “Relationships,” which marks their first drop since 2022. Of course, a fab new music video is also here, and the internet has lost its mind over Outer Banks star Drew Starkey’s appearance in the HCU (Haim Cinematic Universe, obviously).
And, of course, the Starkey and Haim Hives are openly thirsting for Drew and the girlies all over our social feeds.
The Grammy-nominated musicians of Days Are Gone and “I’m Gonna Be Hungover” fame are no strangers to a chronically online rollout. Naturally, they played into the mystery man bit while teasing and promoting their video. Most of their TikTok and Instagram comments were begging them to drop who their costar is, while many already locked Drew in as their final guess.
Haim cheekily responded to the outpour of fan requests with a video of them pretending to block paparazzi flashes and reporters set to Lindsay Lohan’s 2004 track “Rumors.” “Let us LIVE,” they captioned the clip.
Before it was confirmed that the Queer actor is in Haim’s latest video, the band’s latest song gained traction on social media thanks to the teasers.
On March 11, they posted another behind-the-scenes clip from the “Relationships” video where a tall man falls to the ground and lands on his back. The front of his face wasn’t visible, but if you look closely, you can see a smidge of his side profile—and fans correctly guessed it was Drew.
“DREW STARKEY AND HAIM COLLAB? My life is complete,” one fan commented as another flawlessly added, “I know Drew Starkey’s side profile anywhere.” Others have chimed in on other platforms, saying that they’re seated for the occasion.
