There are plenty of Christmas movies that fans turn back to year after year, from the 1947 classic Miracle on 34th Street (and its 1994 remake), to modern rom-coms like Love Actually and The Holiday, to comedies like A Christmas Story and Elf. But, along with all of these very re-watchable films, a new set of Christmas movies are released every year. Sometimes they become new holiday staples and sometimes... well, you can be the judge of the latest batch. Let's just say I'm not so sure the one about Chad Michael Murray participating in a Christmas-themed male revue is the next It's a Wonderful Life. Though, it certainly could have its own merits, depending on what you're looking for!

For fans of Christmas, a cappella, and '00s pop stars!

Deck the Walls

Airing on Hallmark Channel throughout December

Hallmark movie fans already know that the channel releases a ton of Christmas movies every year. One of this year's new flicks is Deck the Walls. It's about an interior designer, Rose (Ashley Greene), who teams up with her brother, Sal (Danny Pelligrino), for a charity house flip. But, of course, there's also romance between Rose and contractor/childhood nemesis/brother's BFF, Brysen (Wes Brown).

Style Me for Christmas

Another TV movie, BET+'s Style Me for Christmas is about a stylist and designer (Raven Goodwin), who is hired to style an R&B singer (Mario, not playing himself) on his tour. But their working relationship turns romantic and is put to the test due to some meddling from his manager.

Andie MacDowell and Danny DeVito star in A Sudden Case of Christmas. It's about a family who are dealing with an impending divorce, but a couple of a relatives hatch a plan to keep the marriage intact while celebrating what could be one final Christmas together. Well, a fake Christmas in the middle of summer, to be more specific.

The Best Christmas Pageant Ever

The Best Christmas Pageant Ever is an adaptation of the 1972 novel by Barbara Robinson about a group of siblings who are known for being the bad kids in their town, but who teach everyone a lesson when they put on a Christmas pageant. The cast includes Judy Greer, Lauren Graham, and Pete Holmes.

Christmas Eve in Miller's Point

On AMC+ now

A family comes together for Christmas at their matriarch's home for what could be the last time before the house is sold in Christmas Eve in Miller's Point. Various generations experience the reunion differently, from rebellious teens to aging grandparents. Cast members include Elsie Fisher, Michael Cera, Francesca Scorsese (yes, daughter of that Scorsese), and Sawyer Spielberg (yes, son of that Spielberg).

Ben Stiller stars in Nutcrackers as a man who has to go take care of his four nephews in rural Ohio after his sister passes away. Fun fact: The nephews are played by four real-life siblings (Arlo, Atlas, Homer, and Ulysses Janson) and the movie was filmed in part on their family's farm.

If you're looking for something that works for even the youngest members of your family, there's That Christmas, an animated movie that tells a series of overlapping Christmas stories. And if you're a fan of Succession, just know that Santa is voiced by Logan Roy himself Brian Cox.
