If only we could all live in a Nora Ephron movie. All we’d have to do is find our Tom Hanks in an AOL chatroom (RIP), fall in love, and then live happily ever after. Unfortunately, this just isn’t reality; instead, we are doomed to search for love without a team of writers and directors plus a killer soundtrack. But we can live vicariously through our favorite romantic comedy heroes and heroines, and fortunately, these fluffy movies aren’t in short supply.
Need to watch something that will make you believe in love again? Feel like experiencing a happily ever after for once? These are the best romantic comedies on Netflix, for your streaming pleasure. Enjoy!
She's All That (1999)
There's nothing better than a good ol' makeover movie, and She's All That is a total classic. When high school hot shot Zach gets dumped by his popular cheerleader girlfriend, he makes a bet with his friend to take social outcast Laney Boggs and turn her into the next prom queen.
13 Going on 30 (2004)
Let's hear it now: we're thirty, flirty and thriving! Well, at least Jenna Rink (kinda?) is when she's magically transported from her 13-year-old body into her 30-year-old self. She might be a big time magazine editor, but adulthood isn't exactly how she pictured it.
She's the Man (2006)
This is one of Amanda Bynes' best movies and it's never not worth a re-watch. When Viola's soccer team gets cut from her school and the boys' team won't let them try out, she decides to pose as her twin brother at his new boarding school so that she can make their team and beat her old school. Channing Tatum plays her gorgeous roommate Duke, who has a crush on his classmate Olivia, who has a crush on Sebastian AKA Viola. It's as funny as it is messy.
Falling For Christmas (2022)
Lindsay Lohan plays a newly engaged hotel heiress, Sierra, who takes a pretty bad tumble while skiing and wakes up with amnesia. With no memory to go off of, she's taken in by local lodge owner, Jake, and his daughter. As she recovers at the lodge and tries to remember who she is, Sierra and Jake start to bond. Oh, and did I mention it takes place at Christmas time? Even more cute!
Forgetting Sarah Marshall (2008)
This is one of those movies that really puts the "com" in rom-com. Holidate (2020)

Good on Paper (2021)
This inspired-by-her-real-life movie from comedian Iliza Shlesinger basically puts to screen the romantic situation you hope never actually happens to you. While on her way home from an audition, she meets a guy and they hit it off, become friends, and eventually start dating. Aaaaand then she finds out he's lied about everything from his job to his college to his family situation. Major yikes!
When We First Met (2018)

This might not be the typical rom-com, but Eurovision is high-key great. You get all the amazing (and sometimes amazingly weird) music and a cute lil' love story. What more could you want?!
Falling For Christmas (2022)
Just try and tell me you don't want to watch Lindsay Lohan make her grand return in an adorable holiday rom-com about an heiress getting amnesia and have to live *gasp* like a normal person until her memory comes back.

Look Both Ways (2022)
Just as she's graduating from college, Natalie takes a pregnancy test after hooking up with her friend. In one timeline, it's positive. And in the other, it's not. This movie has a very cool Sliding Doors-esque approach and shows what each outcome would mean for Natalie's life.

Alex Strangelove (2018)
High schooler Alex Truelove is ready to lose his V-card to his current girlfriend, but then an openly gay boy comes into the picture and Alex begins to question everything.
