The Grammy Awards may be the biggest night in music, but this year, the ceremony is taking place amid a moment of political turmoil. Following the death of ICU nurse Alex Pretti by ICE and Border Patrol agents in Minneapolis, anti-ICE advocates are ramping up their efforts to defund the agency and demand accountability, with celebrities from Billie Eilish to Ariana Grande using their platforms to spread awareness. And of course, many A-listers took to the Grammys red carpet tonight proudly sporting “ICE Out” pins in order to take a stand against ongoing ICE raids.
