2022 espys arrivals

The 2026 Winter Olympics are almost upon us, and they’re gearing up to be hornier than any of us could have anticipated. From a Norwegian crotch-enlarging scandal (yes, this is a thing that happened) to the Olympic Village getting rid of those “anti-sex” beds, it’s already been a lot (in a good way). To make things even better: No less than 14 real-life couples are heading to the Olympics together, some to compete as partners...and some as rivals.

Intrigued? You should be! It’s time to meet the power couples to watch this year, including the married skeleton sliders competing against each other for gold and the newly-engaged Team USA bobsledders heading into their first Olympic Games as a couple—and you better believe we’ll be keeping an eye on all of them. Ahead, all the elite athletes who are not only going for gold but taking home the win in romance (sry).

Nicole Silveira and Kim Meylemans

Nicole, representing Brazil, and Kim, representing Belgium, are both going for gold in skeleton this year. The pair first met at the World Cup, and they previously competed against each other in the 2022 Winter Games in Beijing. Oh, and as of January 2025, these two are married!

Red Gerard and Hailey Langland

Ashley Caldwell and Justin Schoenefeld

Ronja Savolainen and Anna Kjellbin

These two ice hockey stars are really giving Heated Rivalry. Ronja, a two-time bronze medal winner, is playing for Team Finland, while Anna will be making her Olympic debut for Sweden—but that didn’t stop them from getting engaged in 2024.
