A Look Inside Maxwell Social’s Star-Studded Diwali Kick-Off Event

Only in NYC can you be out and about, completely unaware that some of your favorite celebs are throwing a party right next door. Case in point: Last Friday night, the next generation of South Asian Hollywood stars ushered in the Diwali season with a gorgeous event at Tribeca’s Maxwell Social. Believe me when I say everyone came dressed. Luckily, Cosmo got a peek inside the festivities so you can see for yourself.

Actors Avantika, Karan Brar, and Manish Dayal were the hosts for the evening and were joined by TSITP’s Minnie Mills, singer Rhea Raj, model Isabel Machado, and nearly 200 other up-and-coming stars. Guests bounced between getting their glam done by Maalicious Jewelry Hair Studio, crafting custom keychains with Fable & Mane, and sipping on chai martinis (need to try these ASAP) from Hasan Minhaj’s Kolkata Chai Co. Afterward, they were surprised with a live dessert demo by Chef Palak Patel and wrapped up the evening with additional sweet treats from Malai Ice Cream and Flutter Butter. Kind of a perfect night, I’d say.
