More than most sporting events, the US Open is a place to see and be seen. Sure, it might not be quite as formal as Wimbledon (which has the bragging rights of Kate Middleton as patron) but it's a bit more rowdy, a bit more casual, and therefore more fun. In years past, there have been iconic celebrity appearances. Remember last year when Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce made one of their first major appearances as a couple at the Open? Or back in 2016 when Leonardo DiCaprio indulged a young fan when she asked for a selfie, and even asked her if it was okay before moving on? Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner are US Open staples. The Obamas have graced the tournament with their presence in the past, too.
It's been a good year so far for celeb sightings, but it's still early. Here's everyone who's been hanging out at the Open so far. We'll update this post as the tournament progresses and more people go. (The later in the tournament, the better the matches and therefore the more celebs attend, typically.)
