The 2025 WNBA Draft proved to be an exciting night, but before all eyes were on the stage to hear what team would call what name, all of the attention was on the orange carpet. Draftees, veterans in The W, and some college players all popped out in their finest looks. There were a lot of all black outfits on the carpet this year, along with a bunch of pantsuits. Coach, which announced its multi-year partnership with the WNBA and its new title as the official handbag partner of the league, dressed several draftees: Paige Bueckers, Hailey Van Lith, Aneesah Morrow, Kiki Iriafen, and Sonia Citron. The fashion brand created custom looks for most of them, and said it chose these players since they are "bridging the worlds of sport and fashion as exceptional athletes who express themselves with their own unique style."

While everyone looked amazing on the orange carpet and really showed out for the big night, there were a handful of looks that stood out as our absolute faves. Keep reading to see our best-dressed athletes at the 2025 WNBA Draft and why.

Dressed in custom Coach from head to toe, Hailey Van Lith was one of my favorites throughout the whole night. She said she was going for subtle, yet sexy, and she completely accomplished this mission. You truly can never go wrong with a sparkly LBD for a special occasion.

The LSU standout was one of the five players dressed in custom Coach for the evening and she completely delivered in this skirt ensemble. The wavy hair was the perfect addition to add some softness to this all-leather look.

I can't get over the lace ruffle socks paired with the loafers and pearl bows. Aziaha, who was drafted as the No. 12 pick to the Dallas Wings, will certainly be one to watch for tunnel 'fits during her rookie season.

Kiki Iriafren

Okay for a minute I thought this was the Met Gala or Oscars because this look?! Absolutely breathtaking and on a whole other level. This gold gown was designed by Nneka Alexander, a Nigerian designer, and pays homage to Kiki's Nigerian heritage. "I wanted to show my culture on this big stage," said Kiki to ESPN reporter Holly Rowe after being selected as the fourth overall pick to the Washington Mystics. Kiki is another one of the athletes dressed by Coach, so she carried a micro Coach Tabby to complement the full look.

Another one of the athletes wearing custom Coach for the evening, Paige hit the orange carpet in this three piece sparkly pantsuit. What really made the look enviable though (aside from these absolutely perfect beach waves ofc!), was the viral Coach jumbo coin purse that she's carrying.

The LA Sparks vet had to come show some of the newcomers how it's done! Dearica, who's been in The W for about a decade now, brought another fun switch from all the black that was dominating the orange carpet. She was the epitome of pretty in pink in this A-line mini dress, and the side-part bob and silver strappy heels created the ultimate sweet and girly aesthetic.

Another vet in The W, Courtney Williams is known for slaying a tunnel walk just as much as being a dog on the court. So it was no surprise that when she showed up to support the incoming rookies at this year's draft that she did what she usually does: give the people a look! The accessories are the real showstoppers of this edgy outfit to me. Can we get into this short tie, mismatched earrings, and chains?!
