- Jesse Solomon went on WWHL and told Any Cohen he started to suspect West Wilson and Amanda Batula were dating in February.
- Jesse ran into the couple on a date at a bar.
- West and Amanda lied to Jesse, and only Amanda has apologized.
Jesse Solomon is the latest Summer House star to speak out about West Wilson and Amanda Batula’s secret relationship, and it turns out they were lying to him for weeks. The singer and reality star showed up on Watch What Happens Live last night and said, “I had my suspicions, but I did not know until they made their joint statement. They both denied it to my face, multiple times.”
Jesse confirmed that he started to “suspect” West and Amanda were more than friends in “late Feb into March” and that once their statement dropped, “Amanda then text me apologizing, sorry that I lied to you.” Meanwhile, West hasn’t apologized to Jesse despite them being best friends, and the trust between them is a little broken.”
Jesse also gave some insight into what West and Amanda’s vibes were like in the early days of their relationship (when they were keeping it a secret), saying that both he and Ciara Miller were “suspicious,” but that Ciara had advised him to “just wait for the reunion.”
“There was a lot of just, like, flirting,” he said. “The boys went to brunch one day, and West went to brunch with Amanda after and didn’t tell us he was going to brunch with her.” On top of that, Jesse and Amanda’s ex-husband Kyle Cooke “ran into them at a bar” in March, and that in February, Amanda and West “went to dinner without me in Miami when we were all there at the same time. Originally, I was just, like, offended, but then it made sense later.”
And speaking of Kyle Cooke, Jesse said “Kyle’s good, all things considered, but he’s starting to get angry and upset. Especially seeing them make out on the Yankees’ broadcast.”
AND FINALLY, Jesse also weighed in on whether or not something happened between West and Amanda last summer, saying “I really hope not, it’s easy to look back now and hindsight’s 20/20, but I don’t think that they were.”
